Crowley: Sci-Fi Genre

Yep. A world where everything but classical and opera are illegalized. No more rock, no more rap, not even country. If it's not classical, straight to jail no trial. If someone is performing it, the authorities have the right to execute them on the spot. The poor, who work like slaves to the high class use the illegal music as a getaway. The 'Pushers', who create and perform the music, are not poor but not considered high class. The beginning of a middle class.

Linus Owens, a disowned high class, is trying to take over the underbelly of the 'perfect' society. With his cousin Caleb, as his guitarist, the two make up half of Crowley. But caught during a show, their bass player and drummer are killed leaving the two without a band. Caleb's hand, wounded by a stray bullet, forcing them to leave the equipment behind. Crowley would have to start over.

Benji and Momo Aya are the offspring of Mitchell, an opera singer turned politician. The twins grew up close but certain circumstances created a rift between the two. Benji was always in his older sister's shadow. Momo made their parents happy with grades she brought back, Benji's own often belittled by their father... adding much to Momo's guilt. Benji soon developed an inferiority complex and, not feeling needed, turned to listening to alternative rock. Where he hears Crowley for the first time. The next night he takes a trip to the underbelly. Catching Linus' eye, the brunette is asked to become his guitarist since Caleb's hand is permanently damaged.

My ocs in a different genre. I really love the idea. :3 Music lyrics are from Nine Inch Nail's 'the Hand That Feeds' and MUSE's 'Unnatural Selection.' I might do this story. After some more practice with the sci-fi genre.
